Veiled Bead Extensions (VBE) certification teaches you to consult, plan and install beaded extensions for the client in your chair. Learn the theory behind VBE, practice in one VIP class with Will Wyatt, and submit your work for personal feedback afterwards.

For licensed stylists starting with extensions, and stylists already certified in another method who want to refine their skills. Beginners complete three weeks of online preparation and approved practice before the VIP class. Previously certified stylists begin with the in-person class.

$2,500 for either pathway. Certification follows three weeks of troubleshooting, once your required work is approved.

In 2018 extensions became the core of my business. Veiled came out of years working every method on the market — old Brazilian knots, I-tips, K-tips, tape-ins, every beaded row system out there. The pattern was always the same: Brands don't teach a method. They sell a label. They don't care about the post-sale. They don't check if you understood what you bought. They don't check if your results match what they promised. I built Veiled because I was that stylist. I know what it's like to want a method that actually works — taught by someone who actually cares once you've paid. I am still behind the chair five days a week, and I teach the class myself. Ten stylists, one room, my hands then yours.

We review extension theory, your current skills and previous experience, so we know what to build on and what needs attention.

The consultation

Assess the client's natural hair, goals, lifestyle and previous extension experience. Understand what the client needs before choosing an installation plan.

Engineering the installation

Plan where each row belongs, how much hair to use and how placement supports the result. Work through preparation and clean sectioning before installation.

Beadwork, wefts & stitching

Choose bead sizing, establish the foundation, measure and stack the wefts, and work through stitching with Will correcting your technique.

Clean, blend & review

Remove the clips, lift and clean beneath the row, then cut and blend. Review the installation and identify what needs further practice.

After class

Three weeks of troubleshooting

Submit photographs and videos of your VBE work for feedback. VBE certification follows the three weeks of troubleshooting once the required work is approved.

Seats are non-refundable — what you leave with is knowledge and it cannot be handed back. What I can promise is that I don't stop at the door. You send the rows, I answer, until the work is right.

Your questions about VBE.

Do I need extension experience?

No, beginners are welcome. You complete three weeks of online preparation with submitted practice and approval before attending the VIP class. Previously certified stylists begin with the VIP class. Both pathways include three weeks of troubleshooting after class and cost $2,500.

I'm already certified in another method. Is this different?

If your row shows when she puts her hair up, if the string pulls, if the short ends itch, if nobody looked at your work after you paid — yes. You already know the failures. This is the method that removes them, and the three weeks after is where it sticks.

Do I practice on a real head?

Yes. My hands first, then yours, on a live model, and I correct you while you are working — not afterwards on a video call.

How long until I'm certified?

VBE certification follows the VIP class and three weeks of troubleshooting, once your required work is approved. Beginners also complete three weeks of online preparation and approved practice before class.

What if my work isn't approved in three weeks?

I keep working with you until it is. Education that stops at the door is a receipt, not a certification.

Is the price the same for beginners and certified stylists?

Yes. $2,500 either way.

Do I need to bring anything?

No. The pliers, the beads, the thread, the grips and the bag to carry them are all part of the seat.

What if I can't pay all at once?

Once your seat is confirmed you can split it with Shop Pay or Afterpay, or finance through Cherry.

Is it refundable?

No. Seats are non-refundable — what you leave with is knowledge and it cannot be returned. That is also why I read every application myself rather than selling from a button.
